The Wandering Path of Desire

Wow, I am so blown away, that was the best piece of writing I might have ever read. If you substitute my cannabis addiction, wartime PTSD, and seemingly endless grief and fear and anxiety for your ADHD then every word you wrote could have come from me.

Only you said it much better than I could have. And with more poetry and art. And I’m a good writer with a silly 1979 English degree from prestigious Sacramento Junior College.

In every paragraph I found a word, phrase or entire sentence I totally wish I’d said and want to steal and use. No typos, no awkward sentence structure, no underdeveloped ideas. That post might have been perfect.

Though you probably could have rewritten and revised it 100 times if you’re like me, a smidge of OCD. You appear to be my young, more talented, female doppelganger.

And you nailed it that desire is the key. Boredom is the desire for desire and that’s one emotion I suffer from very little. Unless I’m doing weed cessation (or is it attenuation, a tolerance break), like now.

But at 75, and with luck, male white privilege, and one good old college pal, I’m free enough and rich enough through inheritance ($100k mas o menos) to do whatever I want. If I ever figure out what I want.

I’m having technical issues with my offbeat browsers and wonky WordPress so I had to totally retype that post I just did. I’ll stop now lest you take me for a stalker, fanboi or stan.

Giving advice is always a lose-lose proposition but here goes anyway. Check out keto-vore, carnivore and low carb diet sites. And Dr William Davis. Said to work well for ADHD and most other mental, physical and spiritual woes.

It works for me and I’ve never been healthier than I am now at age 75. Get out in the sun as much as possible. Don’t wear poisonous sunblock.
