Humboldt Bay at Eureka
I’m drifting on north into Oregon so this is the Humboldt finale.
The ‘Pythian Castle’, meeting hall of defunct fraternal order the Knights of Pythias from the 19th century. I lived upstairs in student ghetto cubicle housing for $50 per month in 1979. It’s now gentrified apartments (but still a fire trap).

How I get around. Fits easily in trunk of Zoom-Zoom after folding.
Trinidad, North of Eureka and Arcata.
Trail to beach is very steep but it’s worth it.

Clam Beach, McKinleyville
So farewell beautiful Humboldt County, me and faithful Zoom-Zoom Mazda are off for the festive theater season in Ashland, Oregon, USA.
